Come rain or shine we’ve plenty to keep the kids entertained when you are on a break with us. Explore the Island’s rolling countryside, peaceful forests, picturesque villages and breathtaking coastal scenery by foot or bike. Plus, our West Bay Kids programme of activities will ensure that the kids have fun, make friends and get to burn off some energy even on rainy days.

Our Country Club team are fully prepared for rainy days and all activities can be brought inside if the weather changes.
Kids will have fun, make friends and burn off plenty of energy with our kids programme of activities. We love old-fashioned, screen-free fun, so leave the iPads packed away and enjoy getting active by joining in with Ultimate Frisbee, Family Football, Water Polo and much more, and take place under the supervision of our expert team.
Our NEW kids workshops are perfect for kids that like to get arty and crafty! Including activities like cupcake decorating, pizza making, biscuit making and pebble painting – take a look at our February programme here. With over 200 miles of cycle paths, exploring the Island’s beautiful landscape and rugged coastline couldn’t be easier. Our Country Club team have put together a series of recommended cycling routes, graded according to their level of difficulty, for total beginners through to advanced cyclists.
To make sure you get the very best cycling experience, hire our cycle guide, Martin. Take the stress out of navigation and just enjoy the ride and the stunning scenery. Martin will plan your route around your needs, whether you want to make a pit stop for delicious local food, enjoy a leisurely family outing or be taken to the best spots to photograph our dramatic coastline – Martin is a real expert who will ensure you get the most out of your ride.
Fuss free food
Our accommodation is self-catering, but if you don’t want to cook – no problem! The Bay Bistro at West Bay serves delicious food for all the family in a relaxed and informal setting. We take the stress out of cooking with our delicious breakfast and lunch options. Out for the day? Pick up a scrumptious packed lunch from the team to take with you. During school holidays we also offer evening meals too, plus you can also make use of our take away meal service and enjoy delicious home-made food in the comfort of your cottage which will keep even the fussiest of eaters happy.
We’re quick and easy to reach
Only 2 hours from London, you’ll be with us in no time and your family will love crossing the Solent by ferry. The cost of the ferry is included in your break and we’ll even book it for you.
