Andrew Robinson – Country Club Manager

Andrew has played over 15 years as a professional Ice Hockey Player and understands the importance of having a focused and effective training programme in order to achieve your goals. Andrew is a qualified Level 3 personal trainer with over 19 years’ experience working in the Health & fitness industry. As well as being a Personal Trainer, Andrew is also qualified to take many exercise classes, including Body Pump, Kettlebells, Insanity and Spinning. Andrew’s extensive knowledge and experience allows him to offer a full and rounded approach to fitness which is guaranteed to take the boredom out of training. Effective recovery is as important as training hard in achieving success with any training programme and as a Level 3 Qualified Sports Masseur and a Level 2 kinesiology taping professional, Andrew is best placed to ensure your body stays fit and ready for action.

Jenny Andrews-Smith – Yoga Teacher and Rehab Trainer

As one of the leading Yoga teachers on the island, Jenny’s passion, experience and dedication in the practice of Yoga is evident in all that she teaches. As one of the Island’s most experienced Yoga teachers, Jenny has completed 200hrs training with Yogini Anne-Marie Newland, the founder of Sun Power Yoga, as well as over 500+hrs teaching experience. Jenny is a Certified Level 3 Yoga Teacher and is registered as an Advanced Trainer with the Register of Exercise Professionals and Yoga Alliance. As well as being a yoga teacher, Jenny is a qualified Rehab Trainer and Yoga Therapist who is trained to help maximise rehabilitating process from injury.

Jenny’s training allows her to draw on a large variety of Yoga styles, including Ashtanga Vinyasa (heat, power, flexibility), Hatha (alignment), Sivananda (subtle mind and breath work), to enable her to offer Yoga bespoke to the individual needs of the client. According to Jenny, “Yoga can benefit everyone, whether you’re looking to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, focus, breath awareness, or rehabilitation from an illness or an injury. Yoga will help give you a deeper understanding of yourself”.

Steve Holloway – Fitness Professional

Steve has over 10 years’ experience as a County Tri-Athlete and 5 years’ experience competing in Tae Kwon Do, where he has obtained First Dan Black Belt. Steve’s dedication to training has recently been in evidence when he successfully completed the Outlaw Iron Man in 11 hours which is no easy feat. As well as being a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Stan has extensive training and knowledge in many areas including Spinning, Kettlebells, Combat, Advance Strap Training, Cross-Training and Aqua-Fit.

As a keen Mountain Biker, Steve has also achieved the CTC – Trail Leader Qualification and can offer guided Mountain Bike rides for the more adventurous who’s looking for something a little different. He also has a Level 2 British Cycling Coaching qualification allowing him to instruct cycling skills and activities and also has a Level 2 ASA Swimming Teacher Qualification where he has gained much experience teaching to pupils of all ages and abilities to confidently swim.

Larni Murthwaite – Fitness Professional and Dance Teacher

After completing a BA Honours Degree in Dance & Performance in 2007, Larni embarked on a professional dance career performing both in the UK and abroad in hotels, theatres and holiday resorts. During this time she also shared her love of over twenty years of dancing through teaching to children and adults of all ages in a range of dance styles. In 2014 Larni changed her focus to fitness & gym instruction, where she is now not only qualified as a Level 3 PT Instructor but continues to instruct various dance classes but is also qualified in instructing Zumba, Aqua gym, studio weights, step aerobics, circuits, spinning and PiYo.

Frances Clayden – Fitness Professional

Fran has been a competitive swimmer, runner and triathlete for over 10 years and has trained athletes all over the world. In 2017 she was given the opportunity to work in New York State, where she led the fitness department and coached elite swimmers at the girls’ summer camp. She also developed athlete programs to train participants for the end of summer triathlon, 5k and open water swim.

In 2015, Fran graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Sports Coaching and Development. She also developed and runs her own project in Southampton, creating sessions for children with learning disabilities.

She has experience in teaching body sculpt, circuit classes, spinning, abs, HIIT and boot camp classes. She is a fully-qualified level 3 personal trainer. Fran also has the following qualifications: Level 2 Multi Skills Development in Sport, Level 1 &2 ASA Swim Instructor Qualification and BTF Level 2 Triathlon Coaching. Fran has experience coaching people for open water swims, 5k, 10k and half marathon races.

Her passion and love for fitness is shown through her own dedication to her regular training – she continues to train for at least 14 hours per week.

Hannah Robinson – Fitness Professional and Dance Teacher

Hannah’s  background is as a professional singer and dancer, and she is fully qualified in Dance Teaching (Buckingham University and IDTA) – specialising in Latin & Ballroom dancing. She spent almost 10 years performing all over the world on cruise ships, in theatre tours and cabaret shows.

As well as her professional dancing experience, Hannah is a qualified Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor as well as an instructor in Aerobics, Boxercise, Kickboxercise, Aqua Fit, PiYo, Nordic Walking and Boogie Bounce.
